Starring Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman, Rupert Graves, Stephen Fry, Stephen Rea, John Hurt, Tim Pigott-Smith, Rupert Graves, and Roger Allam, the film was released on March 17, 2006 (United States), earned $132.5 million worldwide. V for Vendetta was shot in London, the United Kingdom, as well as in Potsdam, Germany. Additional filming took place at the disused Aldwych tube station and Babelsberg Studios.
