Znin is a small beautiful historic town in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in central Poland, situated somewhere between Bydgoszcz and Poznan. Sometimes referred to as "Polish Pompei", the town is pretty old, it was established in the 11th century and currently it is the seat of the same name county. There are about 14 thousand people live in the town. The central part of the town is truly beautiful, with plenty of old buildings and interesting architecture, as well as many small restaurants and places to eat.
