Wollaton Hall, Gardens and Deer Park is a 16th-century, Elizabethan mansion located at Wollaton Road in Nottingham, England. It was designed by Robert Smythson, and built for Sir Francis Willoughby between 1580 and 1588. It has been a Grade I listed building since 11 August 1952. It was also listed on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens on 1 January 1986. Today, Wollaton Hall houses the Nottingham Natural History Museum. Wollaton Park is a 500-acre park centered on Wollaton Hall and includes a deer park. It hosts concerts, music festivals, and various events. There are a few historic buildings in the park, such as Lenton Lodge and Beeston Lodge. Wollaton Hall and Wollaton Park were featured in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
