The Country Club is a private club at 191 Clyde Street, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, United States, located 7 miles southwest of Downtown Boston. The club is one of the five charter clubs that founded USGA (United States Golf Association). It was established in 1882. It is one of the oldest country clubs in the country. The facility has a length of 7,033 yards (6,431 m) and a total of 27 holes. The Country Club has an important place in golf history. It hosted the 1913 U.S. Open, numerous USGA tournaments, and Massachusetts State Amateur Championships. The 2022 United States Open Championship is also scheduled to be held at The Country Club for June 16–19.
