Sıhhiye Square (Sıhhiye Meydanı) is one of the central squares situated just a mile away from Kizilay, the center of Ankara city, the capital of Turkey. It is a large square historically being a location of the country's Ministry of Health. So the name of the square comes from the Turkish word meaning "Health". There is the same name metro station of Ankara metro line, which helps to reach the area easily. There are also numerous bus and minibuses lines connecting the square with various parts of the city. There is a very interesting sculpture standing in the middle of Sıhhiye Square. It is a large version of the Hattian Alaca Höyük statue, represented by three animals.
