The city of Rockledge is located on the western coast of the Indian River in northeastern Florida, United States. It is the oldest city in Brevard County. Situated 54 miles southeast of Orlando, the city was founded on August 7, 1887, by Gardner S. Hardee. It is bordered by Cocoa to the north and Viera to the south.
