Reed Flute Caves is a natural attraction and really beautiful natural caves situated near the city of Guilin in Guangxi prefecture, which is in south eastern China. The caves are among the most famous landmarks of the country and are visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. The caves are estimated to be about 180 million years old and they got the name after a large number of reed growing out of the rocks and resembling flutes. There are plenty of stalactites and stalagmites in the caves, but numerous marks and sings on the walls are the most valuable historic signs some of those are dated back by the 8th century. The caves are famous with beautiful artificial multi-colored lightning which creates amazing unforgettable atmosphere there.
