Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a memorial park in Keystone, Pennington County, South Dakota, United States, situated in the Black Hills region, an isolated mountain range. It features the 60-foot-tall sculpted heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln designed by American sculptors Gutzon Borglum and Lincoln Borglum. It was built between 1927 and 1941 and added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966. The park has a sculpture museum and a visitor center. Mount Rushmore is the most popular tourist attraction in South Dakota. It was featured in Alfred Hitchcock's film North by Northwest.
