Manresa is a small inland city situated in the north western Spain, in the region of Catalonia, just about 17 miles north of Barcelona. The city is historic and not too old. In the early 19th century, the city suffered from the invasion of French army, and after the liberation it was rebuilt and continued developing as a small agricultural and industrial spot.
