FLA Live Arena, formerly known as National Car Rental Center (1998–2002), Office Depot Center (2002–2005), Bank Atlantic Center (2005–2012), and BB&T Center (2012–2021), is a huge, indoor, multi-purpose arena located at 1 Panther Pkwy in Sunrise, FL, United States. It hosts ice hockey, basketball, and arena football games, concerts, boxing, and mixed martial arts events. It has a basketball capacity of 20,737. The arena was opened on October 3, 1998, and designed by Ellerbe Becket. It is home to NHL's Florida Panthers since its opening. BB&T Center hosted many major artists and bands such as Celine Dion, Madonna, Bee Gees, U2, Elton John, Backstreet Boys, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Barbra Streisand, Bon Jovi, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Rihanna, Pink, Lady Gaga, Cher, Ariana Grande, etc. BB&T Center hosted the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 2003 NHL All-Star Game, the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, UFC on FX 3, and so on.
