Tony Hawk, an American professional skateboarder and one of the pioneers of modern vertical skateboarding, opened The Black Pearl on April 23, 2005. Cayman Islands Skateboard Association (CISA), a non-profit association, has hosted many local and international tournaments at this amazing park. And, there are many courses for everyone who wants to skate from beginners to experts in the area. In addition, most of the professional skateboarders have skated in Black Pearl Skate and Surf Park. Black Pearl Skate Park is open from Sunday to Thursday at 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and from Friday to Saturday at 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
