A wonderful small natural of Beohar-Sarovar (sometimes known as 'Burhan-Sagar') is situated about 14 miles on Jabalpur-Sihora road. The lake is located near the village of Ghandihram, which has got its name after Mahatma Ghandi, who visited these localities in 1933. In the middle ages, the area and the lake were under the rule of Beohar Dariyav Simha who defeated Muhammad Mir Khan, and the 'Beohars' became the best managers of the district. In modern days, the area is covered with small farms and fields. The village Burhagarh is situated on a hillock on top of which stood the Citadel of Beohars.
