Royal Gardens, or Athens National Garden (Εθνικός Κήπος) is a large historic park with archeological remains in Athens, Greece, situated between Pangrati and Kolonaki in the center of the city. Created in 1838 and located near the Greek Parliament building, the park has a total area of 15.5 hectares (38 acres). There are many points of interest, historical landmarks and tourist attractions in the area, including Zappeion Hall, Zappeion Garden, Athens National Garden Playground, Zappeio Roman Baths, Estatua de Lord Byron, National Garden Walking Route, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the Library of the Greek Parliament, Spanish Fountain, and Botanical Museum of the National Gardens.
