Anand Railway station is a notable building situated at Anand Junction at Pedestrian Overpass in Bhavna Colony, Anand, Gujarat state of India. It is a new terminal opened in winter 2009 and launched as a new railway station, the main one in the city. Its area is close to 100 acres, which makes it one of the largest railway terminals in the region. Currently, there are 17 platforms, and the second phase of the construction is reported to be finished by the end of the decade. The railway station is provided with all modern facilities including the ones for booking and buying tickets, waiting for the trains, arriving and departing, and so on. Recently, the terminal was totally switched to being provided with solar energy.
