Starring Bill Skarsgård, Jaeden Martell, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff, the film was released on September 8, 2017 (United States), grossed $700.4 million worldwide. It (2017) is the first film of the It film series. A group of bullied kids tries to destroy a clown who preys on the children of Derry. The film is considered one of the best Stephen King adaptations. It (2017) was filmed in Bangor, Maine, USA and Elora, Hamilton, Pickering, and Oshawa, in Ontario, Canada. Filming also took place at Pinewood Toronto Studios.
