Ghostbusters: Afterlife is an American action-comedy supernatural movie directed by Jason Reitman, written by Reitman and Gil Kenan. Starring Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Paul Rudd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts, it is the fourth film in the Ghostbusters series. The film premiered at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on August 23, 2021. After two children and a single mother move to a small town, they discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters: Afterlife was shot in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Street scenes took place in Fort MacLeod.
