Black Myth: Wukong Locations

Inspired by the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, Black Myth: Wukong is a fantasy epic action role-playing game released on August 20, 2024. Designed by Jiang Baicun, and developed and published by Game Science, the game received good reviews and quickly became one of the fastest-selling games ever. Its main protagonist is the Destined One, based on Sun Wukong from the classical Chinese novel. It also features other characters from Journey to the West, such as Rakshasi. Many fictional sites in the game are inspired by real-world locations in China. Among the 36 specific locations in the game, 27 are in North China's Shanxi Province.
