Neuilly-Plaisance is a town and one of the suburbs of the capital city of France, as well as a community in the region of Île-de-France. Situated about 7 miles east of Paris city center, Neuilly-Plaisance is a relatively newly established administrative unit. It starts its history about 120 years ago, when the town was founded after some reorganization of the territories near Paris. Today it is a large town and a home to slightly above twenty thousand people. Neuilly-Plaisance is famous as a home to a few great schools and colleges which offer excellent services and educational programs to the local children. There is a popular landmark located to the north of the downtown area, a large park known as the Parc des Coteaux d'Avron.
