Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, also known as Nassau Coliseum, is a multi-use arena, sports, and concert venue, located at 1255 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, NY, United States. Designed by Welton Becket and Associates, built between 1969–1972, opened to the public on February 11, 1972, renovated between 2015–2017, and reopened on March 31, 2017, the arena is home to Long Island Nets (NBA G League) since 2017 and New York Riptide (NLL) since 2019. It hosts ice hockey, college and pro basketball games, soccer games, professional wrestling matches, tennis tournaments, concerts, and other events. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum hosted Elvis Presley who performed at the arena in June 1973 and July 1975. The arena was also used as a filming location for the 2007 movie "Music and Lyrics" which starred Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore.
