Maryland is one of the states of the United States of America, located on the shores of the Atlantic coast, in the eastern region of the country. Due to very close proximity to the capital city of the country which is located just to the southwest of the state, the adjacent area is heavily populated and is closely connected with the largest city of Maryland, Baltimore.
