Halifax is a large city located in the province of Nova Scotia, in the south easternmost part of Canada. Situated on the southern shores of Bedford Basin, Halifax is the capital city of the province and a settlement located right opposite the city of Dartmouth. Administratively, it is considered that the areas of both cities are included to the same municipality. The city of Halifax is one of the principal business centers of the Atlantic region of Canada.
