Circleville, nicknamed Roundtown, is a small city in Ohio, United States, located on the banks of the Scotio River, 7 miles west of Stoutsville, 22 miles north of Chillicothe and 25 miles south of Columbus. It is the seat of Pickaway County and has a total area of 6.76 square miles. U.S. Routes 22 and 23 pass through the city. The city was settled by European Americans at the beginning of the 19th century. The city's economy is mainly based on manufacturing. There are a few attractions in Circleville, such as Pickaway County Historical Society, The Ted Lewis Museum, Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park and Ted Lewis Park. It also hosts the annual Circleville Pumpkin Show.
