The capital city of the Odisha state of India, Bhubaneswar "Temple City of India" is located in eastern India, the eastern part of the state on the Kuakhai River. The city is in Khordha district of Odisha and bounded to the south by the Daya River and to the east by the Kuakhai River. Bhubaneswar has a very ancient history dating back for at least 3,000 years.
