Situated near US Route 2, the town of Arvilla is a small community in the northern part of North Dakota, north USA. The town is a part of Grand Fork county and is one of the remote neighborhoods of Grand Forks, situated about 18 miles west of the city. Established about 120 years ago, the town was originally named Orange as it was a part of Orange county. There are about 150 people currently living in the town, and most of the working people are employed in services or small agricultural businesses. Farming is a historic occupation of the local people, and even the name of the town is commemorating the name of the wife of a local rich farmer who lived there around the times of the town's foundation.
