The Zone of Interest Locations
The Zone of Interest is a historical drama war movie written and directed by Jonathan Glazer, produced by James Wilson and Ewa Puszczyńska, based on the 2014 novel by Martin Amis. Starring Christian Friedel and Sandra Hüller, the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on 19 May 2023 and was released on 15 December 2023 (United States), 2 February 2024 (United Kingdom), and 9 February 2024 (Poland). It received the Grand Prix and FIPRESCI Prize, three BAFTA awards, and five Academy Award nominations (including Best Picture). It won 2 Academy Awards including Best International Feature Film. The Zone of Interest was shot in Oświęcim, Poland, mostly next to Auschwitz. An abandoned building located close to the camp was used as a filming location. Filming also occurred in Jelenia Góra, an old city in southwestern Poland.

It is weird that the article doesn't include the name of the city of Oświęcim, where the movie was filmed. It only lists Auschwitz Museum as a place of filming, which is technically false, because it was filmed outside of the Auschwitz grounds, and the buildings of the camp are seen mostly as a background.
The house where majority of the action takes place was a building adjacent to the camp, renovated and readied for filming.
