The Intouchables is a French biographical comedy-drama film written and directed by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, adapted from the autobiographical tale "Le Second Souffle" by Philippe Pozzo di Borgo. Starring François Cluzet, Omar Sy, Anne Le Ny, Audrey Fleurot, Grégoire Oestermann, and Thomas Solivérès, the film tells the friendship between two different men, an aristocrat quadriplegic man, and his caregiver Driss. The film was released on 2 November 2011 in France, won many awards as well as a nomination for a Golden Globe. The Intouchables was mainly shot in Paris, France. The paragliding scene took place in Mont Bisanne, Villard-sur-Doron. Filming locations included Buvette des Marionnettes, Hôtel d'Avaray, and Les Deux Magots.
