The Fault in Our Stars is an American romantic drama film directed by Josh Boone, written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. It is based on John Green's novel of the same name published in 2012. The film stars Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell, Nat Wolff, and Willem Dafoe. It premiered at Seattle International Film Festival on May 16, 2014, was released on June 6, 2014 (United States) and grossed $307.2 million worldwide. The film follows the story of two teenage cancer patients: Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. Film locations were Pittsburgh and Oakmont Pennsylvania, including UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and The Mansions On Fifth Luxury Hotel. The church scene was shot at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Additional filming took place in Amsterdam.

The BP station on Ardmore Blvd and Rebecca Ave in Wilkinsburg is where the scene where Gus was picked up by ambulance. Ironically the alley behind the BP station is called Hazel way. The convenience store where the eggs were purchased is at the corner of Franklin Ave and Swissvale Ave, also in Wilkinsburg. Sorry, not sure of the coordinates of these two locations.
