The Equalizer 3, an American action crime thriller, is directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk. Based on the CBS television series created by Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim, it serves as the sequel to The Equalizer 2 (2018). Starring Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning, David Denman, Sonia Ammar, and Remo Girone, the film premiered on September 1, 2023, through Sony Pictures Releasing.
In the film, Robert McCall (Washington) seeks peace in Southern Italy but soon discovers that his friends are under the control of ruthless local crime bosses. As deadly events unfold, McCall is forced to take action, becoming his friends’ protector and taking on the mafia in a thrilling battle for justice.
Filmed on the stunning Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy, The Equalizer 3 features breathtaking locations, including the towns of Atrani and Amalfi, as well as scenes shot in Rome and Naples. A notable filming location is the Santuario Santa Maria del Bando Church in Atrani.

The town is Majori (large) not Maiori
Definitely Maiori, about an hour SE of Naples by car.
I was there two months ago and it is indeed Maiori.

So nice surprise! I wanted to see the movie and was surprised by the location. My wife and went on hiking holiday in april 2023 to Minori and walked over the mountains to all village's.

Absolutely loved the movie. I’ve seen Equalizer 1 and 2 three times each. The scenery was amazing and going to Italy is on my bucket list.
Just viewd Equalizer 3 (in the UK), superb filming, script and acting, bravo to everyone concerned.
We will be planning a trip to this Italian village, Altamonte. I have watched Equalizer 3 at least 15 times. The movie is phenomenal!

Loved the movie as much because of the location/s.
We holidayed in Atrani which has the little piazza that Densel sits at with his tea/coffee and that the baddies come to and at the end with the football celebrations.
We walked down to the square around lunchtime and there were older people playing games and drinking wine just perfect, slow pace of life.
We walked up those steps, lots of steps, and when we were there there was a celebration at the weekend with fireworks and bells we had an apartment at the top of all those steps with a balcony, and picked lemons off the trees for our drinks just superb
