The Dead Zone Locations
The Dead Zone is an American drama horror sci-fi movie directed by David Cronenberg, written for the screen by Jeffrey Boam, scored by Michael Kamen, and based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. Starring Christopher Walken, Brooke Adams, Tom Skerritt, Herbert Lom, Anthony Zerbe, Colleen Dewhurst, and Martin Sheen, the film was released by Paramount Pictures on October 21, 1983, received good reviews, and won a few awards including "Best Horror Film" at the 1984 Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. The Dead Zone was filmed in Ontario, Canada, including Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Greater Toronto Area. The scene at Screaming Tunnel took place in Niagara Falls. The roller coaster scene was filmed in Canada's Wonderland, a theme park in Vaughan.
