Oldboy Locations
Oldboy (올드보이 in Korean) is a South Korean action psychological thriller drama mystery film directed by Chan-wook Park, written for the screen by Chan-wook Park, Joon-hyung Lim, and Jo-yun Hwang, based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Garon Tsuchiya and Nobuaki Minegishi. Starring Min-sik Choi, Ji-Tae Yoo, Hye-jeong Kang, Dae-han Ji, Dal-su Oh, Byeong-ok Kim, and Seung-shin Lee, the film was released on 21 November 2003, won the Grand Prix at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. Oldboy was shot in Seoul and Busan, South Korea. The final scenes took place on the Mount Lyford, New Zealand.
