Lawrence, the English officer, and his role in the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire during World War I. It was released on 10 December 1962, grossed $70 million worldwide, won 7 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director. Lawrence of Arabia was shot Almería, Andalucía, Spain; Wadi Rum, Jordan; Aït Benhaddou, Morocco; and Surrey, England, UK.
